How to maximize your vacation in Sydney?
The mountains, beaches and downtown. There is such a variety of things to do in Sydney, but budget travelers May not be easy to stay too long, for a cheap accommodation is expensive and not always available (for late bookings) in the city. It is better to remain a friend, and hope that the friend is near the eastern suburbs - close to beaches.
My favorite subjects are the Maroubra beach and the beaches north of Sydney. Maroubra is less crowded than the popular beaches of Bondi and Coogee, and the waves a little harder, but a perfect place for barbecue, ball games on the floor (south of the beach). On the north side ... (right to Barren Joey Nature Reserve) I can not imagine a more peaceful and idyllic. The same applies to the western suburbs, the Blue Mountains ... ideal place for retreats, nature walks, go time away from cell phones and computers. About 3-4 days in the mountains will be great and on the beach, waiting in northern Sydney, you can upload and download in approximately 1 full day. For the beach, hoping that \ 's better to rent a car and read the card to go. In the Blue Mountains most famous, there are packages available with easy access in the city.
Covering the front of the north and west, and then to have spent some time of silence may be some time in the city!. Visit the shopping malls / stores along Elizebeth / George Street, near Hyde Park and stores are small shops around Paddington (weather permitting diversion). After running through the center, you can go south to Chinatown and Darling Long Range Harbor for lunch (most touristy things). If you are sure not to miss, look for instructions on How to get to Fisherman \ 's Wharf which is close to Darling Harbor (tram, on foot, by taxi).
Alternatively, Hyde Park's headquarters and visit the great art gallery in New South Wales. It will take time for that after covering. If you visit the gallery and stop looking through it (about 3-4pm?) You can take a walk in the park (north) for 25-30 minutes before arriving at Circular Quay (yes, yes ... Opera House). Alternatively, take a bus to Hyde Park, East Side, together Elizebeth Street.
Circular Quay (\ "+ Sydney Opera House, the bridge \") is where you can take different ferry rides from North Sydney, sending tourist photos, even watch a movie on a mini cinema (art films more) it is late at night. You must make big boat rides, the best when it \ 's early and sunny day. You can buy a round trip to Watsons Bay north to Fish and Chips. At Watsons Bay, go to the halyard broke (?) For a magnificent view of city and the harbor of Sydney (You can see the narrow passage between the north and south of Sydney, and opening the river to the sea)
Back to Circular Quay, you can reserve a cruise (if your budget allows) that comes with lunch. In addition to a lunch cruise, there are many restaurants and pubs eat in at Circular Quay.
Circular Dining Quat is especially popular, even people of North Sydney will be closed by the bite of an ... I miss Pancakes Rocks ... BBQ Pork Ribs ... There are many other restaurants, Japanese, Swiss and I \ 've not tried, but they are very popular. If you eat around 6-7pm unreservedly ... you might have a problem with queues. Stranded in Circular Quay, without a place to eat is not very big ... If this happens, the closest alternative I can think of a route of Bus 20 to 30 minutes Chinatown / Darling Harbor area in cheaper food alternatives.
Other commercial areas outside the downtown are Bondi Junction, Chatswood (North side), or later in the Western Suburbs - Parramatta.
To see the lines of beautiful coast to the tourists. Visit La Perouse (where one of the Mission Impossible movies were filmed) and, more importantly, the Royal National Park (World \ 's second park oldest national), some hours in the South. Trails range from half day, full day or more. I \ 've tried a full day excursions one and a half earlier. Recommend the day of the walking track that allows a more ocean. Sometimes the hiking, the view is even more beautiful than the road Coast along Melbourne \ 's coast. Bring your camera and make sure you ask the guard recommed the park (depending on what you expect to see), there are many paths to choose from. In addition, Dun forget to bring drinks, food, and take a card before the start of u.
