The Rasmus is a rock band that has emerged in Helsinki in 1994. The group includes members of Lauri Ylönen, vocalist, Eero Heinonen, bass, Pauli Rantasalmi - guitarist Aki Hakala and play drums in the band.
The group became internationally famous in 2003 when they released their album "Dead Letters". The album includes the most famous venues, such as "In the Shadows", "Guilty," "First Day Of My Life ',' FFFF-Falling" and many more. All songs on this album are melodic, but darker with a touch of punk and rock.
He quickly released a new album "Hide From The Sun "was released in 2005. The group is the Finnish alternative rock band most famous of the world famous, having sold more than 3.5 million copies of their albums worldwide. The group has won five of eight awards platinum and gold awards for their performance in rock music.

In an interview with singer Lauri Ylonen in June 2009 announced his duet with Anette Olzon is, "October, in April" to be published this October to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the band. In addition, fans can expect another album to be released in 2010.
