A good recipe for chocolate chip cookies?
Looking for the definitive recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Similar to Mrs. Fields cookies or Larry. I try to find a recipe that is cooked large, dense and smooth. Comments?
It's my turn to do something for the committee meeting tonight, a week, I have to attend. A few months ago I made my Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies and everyone was raving about them since. When Secretary Commission announced that it was my turn again all said I should do my cookies again and also make the recipe. It was the first time that this Committee have agreed on anything! LOL My Ultimate cookie recipe chocolate chip recipe is adapted from my mother, but several key changes have been made (indicated in bold.) told me once before it is a bit like the recipe Mrs. Field, but I do not quite have the same consistency. * 1 stick unsalted butter 1 / 2 cup white sugar 1 / 2 cup brown sugar * 1 large egg, room temperature 2 tablespoons of Grade B syrup, Vermont maple cream 2 tablespoons milk * 2 ounces of grated chocolate milk * 1 1 / 2 cup oatmeal in the kitchen the first non - instant or fast! * 1 cup finely chopped walnuts * 1 bag Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips * pinch of baking powder * 1 cup flour - * Pre moved pinch of salt Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in the mixer. Add eggs, but wait a bit to the mix before adding the cream and maple syrup. Continue mixing while performing the next step. In a food processor, cut the oats until a very safe and add powder elements to the table of the mixture. Add grated chocolate to the elements of the blender and blend until all ingredients are well incorporated. Change flour and salt mixture and baking powder in bowl. Remove the mixture from the mixer bowl and mix with nuts, flour mixture and chocolate chips by hand. You want the ingredients are well matched, but this time he must avoid excessive mixing. Place a sheet of greased UN Exopat Matfen Silpat nonstick cooking or baking tray and spoon a generous dollop of cookie dough evenly spaced on the sheet. The recipe just fill two sheets with 12 cookies per sheet. If more mass left is not enough mass needed to change the size of its witnesses so they are all the same size and shape.
